Vacancy- Security Guard

The Guyana Post Office Corporation seeks a competent and motivated individual to fill the position of Security Guard – Security Department Guyana Post Office Corporation, Headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare shift roster when required
• Monitor all electronic surveillance equipment
• Accurately record all incidences which occur during shift in Log books
• Record visiting and patrol issues
• Inform incoming Security Guard/Security Shift Supervisor of all incidences which occur during a shift
• Maintain attendance record as per shift
• Patrol locations and report any issue as seen
• Perform any other work- related duties that may be assigned

Competencies:
• Possess strong people’s skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem solving skills

Qualification/Experience:
• Sound Secondary Education
• One (1) year experience in the security sector would be an asset
