Vacancy – Security Guard
The Guyana Post Office Corporation seeks a competent and motivated individual to fill the position of Security Guard – Security Department Guyana Post Office Corporation, Headquarters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare shift roster when required
· Monitor all electronic surveillance equipment
· Accurately record all incidences which occur during shift in Log books
· Record visiting and patrol issues
· Inform incoming Security Guard/Security Shift Supervisor of all incidences which occur during a shift
· Maintain attendance record as per shift
· Patrol locations and report any issue as seen
· Perform any other work- related duties that may be assigned
Competencies:
· Possess strong people’s skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong problem solving skills
Qualification/Experience:
· Sound Secondary Education
· One (1) year experience in the security sector would be an asset
