Vacancy- Clerk III- Finance Department
Purpose:
The Guyana Post Office Corporation seeks a competent and motivated individual to fill the position of Clerk III – Finance Department, Guyana Post Office Corporation, Headquarters.
Principle Accountabilities:
• POSTS all receipt vouchers to Sage.
• POSTS all payment vouchers to Sage (both expenses and deposits).
• POSTS all bank deposits to Sage.
• POSTS all remittance vouchers to Sage (both inwards and outwards).
• PREPARES monthly Profitability Reports for offices.
• ASSISTS with the preparation of remittance sent to district offices.
• ASSISTS with the uplifting of values from the bank.
• PREPARES Swift Shipping invoices.
• PERFORMS any other work-related duties that may be assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
Qualification/Experience
• Five (5) CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics, English, POB and POA
• Computer Literacy in Microsoft Applications will be an asset
• Atleast two (2) years’ experience in Finance/Accounts will be an asset
