Vacancy- Clerk II- Finance Department

Purpose:
The Guyma Post Office Corporation seeks a competent and motivated individual to fill the position of Clerk II – Finmce Department, Guyana Post Office Corporation, Headquarters.

Principle Accountabilities:
• Counting and recording of OAP/PAB coupons received from district Post Offices daily in logbook.
• Examine coupons while checking schedules. Enter examined coupons in system (Blocks I-III)
• Ensure all documents received from district offices are correctly and accurately entered into the ledger.
• • Handing over of OAP/PAB coupons to Ministry of Social Protection staff.
• Ensuring receipts are written for coupoos collected by the staff of Ministry of Social Protection.
• Receiving & checking ·off all work from district offices daily.
• Reconciliations of all accounts stated above.
• Perform any other work-related duties that may be assigned.

• Excellent customer service·skills
• Strong problem-solving skills

Qualification/Experience

• Five (5) CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics, English, POB and POA
• Computer Literacy in Microsoft Applications
• Experience in Finance/ Account! will be an asset
