Vacancy- Postmen
The Guyana Post Office Corporation seeks competent and motivated individuals to fill the position of Postmen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Account for all mail received and delivered
• Sustain good relations with Customers
• Assist with the processing of mails received and dispatched
• Prepare monthly delivery information on undelivered and Return Letter Office (RLO) mail
• Ensure that appropriate remarks are placed on undelivered mail
• Witnessing and counting of cash received and dispatched at the office when necessary
• Clear Pillar and Letter Boxes
• Delivery of express packages
• Sort and dispatch mail
• Assist with processing of transaction at the counters
Competencies:
• Possess strong people’s skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem solving skills
Qualification/Experience:
• Three (3) CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English
• One (1) year experience in Customer service/Clerical duties
