Vacancy- Leave Clerk- Human Resources Department

Principle Accountabilities:

· PREPARES all leave approvals and vacation allowance

· ENSURES all /2 personal files are accounted for and kept in good condition

· ADMINISTERS the distribution and receipt of Annual Vacation Leave Roster for all Department/Offices at the beginning of each year

· SUBMITS Human Resources Annual Vacation Leave Roster to Human Resources Officer at the beginning of each year

· PROVIDES monthly sick leave statistics for the Recruitment Clerk

· PREPARES stop and release salary memos for staff on extended sick and maternity leave

· PREPARES all medical certificates to be forwarded to the National Insurance Scheme

· PREPARES weekly sick report spreadsheet for Welfare Officer

· PREPARES salary adjustment for staff who submitted medical certificates for four (4) or more days sick leave

· PREPARES NIS Payment Vouchers/Shortfall to compensate employees

· PERFORMS any other work-related duties as assigned

Competencies:

· Possess strong people’s skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong problem-solving skills

Qualification/Experience:

· Five (5) CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English

· Computer Literacy in Microsoft Applications

· Two (2) years’ experience in similar field will be an asset
