Vacancy- Inspector of Post- Inspectorate Department
The Guyana Post Office Corporation seeks a competent and motivated individual to fill the position of Inspector of Post – Inspectorate Department Guyana Post Office Corporation, Headquarters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Successfully conduct assigned audits in the Administrative and Operational departments
- Identify and communicate queries raised at the office visited, offering recommended solutions and conduct follow up checks to ensure queries are addressed effectively and efficiently
- Ensure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk
- Ensure adherence at all times to the Standard Operational Procedures
- Prepares a detailed report on the audit findings on a timely basis
- Provide audit support to Area Managers when there are incidences of Breakages/shortages/fraudulent activities
- Any other work related duties that may be assigned
Competencies:
- Possess strong people’s skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem solving skills
Qualification/Experience
- Five CXC inclusive of Mathematics and English
- Diploma in Accountancy or CAT
- 3 years’ experience in Audit or Accounts
- Computer Literacy in Microsoft Applications
