Stamp Commemorating Diplomatic Relations Between Guyana and Mexico Released

On Friday, the Guyana Post Office Corporation in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation officially released a special commemorative stamp celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Guyana and Mexico.
The stamp is a symbol of the solid foundation of the bilateral relations and the progressive advancement of the cooperative agenda between the two states.
Guyana and Mexico have engaged in bilateral collaboration in several areas including technical cooperation, capacity building and training over the past five decades.
The stamp was handed over by Postmaster General, Karen Brown to Resident Ambassador of Mexico to Guyana, HE Mauricio Vizcaรญno Crespo at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday in the presence of Permanent Secretary, Elisabeth Harper, Ambassador George Talbot, Director of Multilateral and Global Affairs, Pegy McLennan, Director ag. Department of the Americas, Ms. Candida Daniels, Director ag. Department of International Cooperation and other officials from the Embassy of the United Mexican States.
