On 4 July 2023, the Caribbean Community celebrated 50 years since the signing of the Treaty of Chaguaramas. CARICOM has distinguished itself as the oldest surviving integration movement in the developing world. CARICOM’s Fiftieth Anniversary was honoured under the theme, “50 Years Strong: A Solid Foundation to Build On”.
